The mission of the local church is to be making disciples of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28). Yet if we fail to describe what it looks like to be a disciple of Jesus then we will find that it is hard to get any traction and we will fail to accomplish the Great Commission. • What is your response to what you are learning from God’s Word?
      • Are you regularly confessing and repenting of your sins/idols?
      • Do you have an increasing spiritual desire to know, be with, and love Jesus?
    • Growing commitment and LOVE for the Body of Jesus Christ, the church.
      • Questions to ask:
      • Are you committed to the mission of the church; making disciples who make disciples? (not merely “running programs” but intentionally making disciples)
      • Are you committed to weekly, messy relationships within the church?
      • Are you quick to forgive others and extend them grace?
      • Do you know what your spiritual gifts are and are you using them to build up the church/God’s kingdom?
    • Growing commitment and LOVE for the work of Christ in the world.
      • Questions to ask:
      • (So critical that it is repeated) Are you committed to the mission of the church; making disciples who make disciples? Who has God put in your life (outside the church walls) that might be open to talk about spiritual matters?
      • Are you partnering with God and the work he is doing in your home, neighborhood, school, workplace and the world?
      • Are you building relationships with your neighbors?
      • Does your heart break for injustice and suffering in the world? Has your brokenness moved you into action?
