What to say to someone who is hurting

There is a time for words and a time to be quiet and simply minister to someone by being with them. Job 2:13 describes the only good thing Job’s friends did was to quietly be with him during his suffering. “And they sat with him on the ground seven days and seven nights, and no one spoke a word to him, for they saw that his suffering was very great.”

Thanks for sharing this song. It’s such a good reminder of our universal need to have unconditional love and acceptance as we make our way in this life. Feeling thankful for a God who does this but also for those in my life who have stuck by me.

  2. I agree Jean! We have a God who loves us unconditionally and we, as His children, should reflect that same love to others. Have a nice day!
